<p>A planning board is provided for establishing the estimated duration and performance of a contract which includes several phases. The planning board comprises a flat plate having rectangular area, a plurality of parallel bars extending upward from the plate, each of said bars representing a particular phase of the contract, and extending over a length which is the portion of the length of the rectangular area corresponding to the percentage of the total time of performance of the contract which is neceassary to complete the phase representing by the bar, and a plurality of overlay cards each having a plurality of slots which will permit the cards to be laid over the plate with the bars extending upward through the slots. The cards are calibrated so that each represents a contract of a different duration, and the ends of the bars will show the beginning and ending time of each of the phases.</p> |
