Process for the preparation of novel triazole derivatives

Process for the preparation of novel triazole derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R represents unbranched alkyl having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, and their addition salts with inorganic acids, by reaction of a compound of the formula II <IMAGE> with formaldehyde and formic acid. The novel compounds are suitable e.g. for the treatment of epilepsy and of states of tension and agitation.
