In times of peace, private air-raid cellars are used as storage cellars which are subdivided into compartments by fences composed of wooden laths and wooden supports. In the event of a disaster or in times of war, places for lying down, tables, benches and the like are installed in cellars. In order to make use of the existing wooden laths and wooden supports there are provided prefabricated webs (5) onto which the wooden laths (9) can be fastened, by means of tines (59) which can be bent, to form a grid. At their ends, the webs have clamps (1) which can be pushed onto metal pins (7, 8). Clamps and metal pins permit the grid to be arranged in the horizontal or vertical position or to be hung as a door. <IMAGE>
