<p>1415339 Woven fabrics NORDISKA MASKINFILT AB 20 Dec 1972 [1 Sept 1972] 58958/72 Heading D1K In a forming fabric of synthetic threads and comprising two weft plies 11, 12 and warp threads 13, the outer surface of the weft and warp threads 11 and 13 on one face at least of the fabric are made tangential to the plane 14 of that face as by suitably tensioning the warp threads 13. The threads may be monofilaments or multifilaments or the warp threads may be monofilaments and the weft threads multifilaments or vice versa. Chemically stiffened multifilament threads may be used. The threads of the two weft plies are arranged in pairs one above the other and a number of pattern repeats are shown in which the warp threads 13 are each interwoven with individual threads 11 of the top ply, but pass below groups of two or three adjacent threads 12 of the bottom ply.</p> |
