<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the toner which is negatively charged without use of a conventionally used charge control agent and which hardly causes offsetting without any silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:The resin to be used in this electrophotographic toner is a mixture of the polyester resin and styrene-acrylic resin. When the acid value of the polyester resin is controlled to (a) and the content of the polyester resin in the resin used in the toner to p%, 100<=a.p<=3500. In the inequality, (a) is milligrams of the potassium hydroxide necessary to neutralize 1 gram of the polyester resin, and (p) is the ratio in % of the weight of the resin used in the toner to that of the polyester resin.</p> |
