<p>PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of data capable of being inputted only by one operation by generating input data from a plane position detected by a plane position detecting means and a vertical position detected by a vertical position detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A general map is displayed on a display screen 1. When an operator specifies operation for obtaining an enlarged view for a prescribed position on the position and depresses an operation button 2, the plane position of an operation element 3 is specified. When the operator brings the element 3 furthermore close to the screen 1, the Z axis position, i.e., the vertical position, of the element 3 is specified, and a map for the place is enlarged and displayed. When the operator depresses that button 2 at the time of ending the observation of the enlarged view, the screen 1 is restored to the original general view. Since data are three-dimensionally inputted, the quantity of input data can be increased and the operator can observe a required screen only by one input.</p> |
