PURPOSE:To make it easy to light on a mercury lamp etc. by a power voltage lower than conventional one, by connecting an auxiliary electrode with an opposite main electrode through a normally closed bimetal switch and applying a pulse voltage due to the discharge with the main electrode and the make and break of the switch. |
