FLOW CONTROL SYSTEM IN DATA STORE AND FORWARD EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To secure the communication quality of usual traffic subscribers and to improve the immunity of the congestion in the entire exchange on the occurrence of congestion in the data store and forward exchange. CONSTITUTION:Plural congestion detection points with respect to burst traffic from repeater side frame processing sections 2101 to 210m are set to a subscriber side frame processing section 202, congestion or congestion release is detected for each congestion detection point and the congestion or congestion release to be detected is informed to the repeater side frame processing sections 2101 to 210m is separated and stored in the unit of subscriber lines in the repeater side frame processing section and frame transmission to the subscriber side frame processing section 202 is stopped or restarted corresponding to the congestion detection point with respect to the congestion or congestion release notice received by the repeater side frame processing sections 2101 to 210m.
