PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and surely separating a small amount of blood without centrifugation by using an instrument comprising a glass fiber layer having a specific avearge diameter, and controlling the amount of plasma or serum to be separated, by a specific ratio. SOLUTION: A thin separating layer 4 comprising a liquid permeable plastic net, is closely kept into contact with a reaction layer 1 of a rapid diagnostic material attached to a hard base material 2. A glass fiber layer 3 formed by a layer of a glass fiber of 0.2-5μof average diameter, and 0.1-0.5g/cm<3> of density, and satisfying that the amount of the plasma or the serum to be separated, is 50% in maximum, of the absorption quantity, is formed on the separating layer 4. A net 5 is further placed on the fiber layer 3. The blood drop 8 is placed on the diagnostic material so that the plasma is separated from the erythrocyte and the leukocyte in the fiber layer 3. The separated plasma is entered in the reaction layer 1 through the separating layer 4, and then the separating layer 4 is separated with the fiber layer 3 and the net 5. |
