摘要 |
PURPOSE:To provide a multiple optical fiber aligning device which facilitates production of the device and is capable of exactly aligning multiple optical fibers and optical parts on the side to be connected. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric elements 6 are arranged and fixed to the upper side of a device base plate 8. The device is provided with a fine adjustable stage 30 having these piezoelectric elements 6 and a microarm 1. The microarm 1 is constituted by providing with moving arms 11 to 18 functioning as cantilevers. Projecting parts 9 having slopes 5 are formed on the front end side of these moving arms 11 to 18. V grooves for holding optical fibers are formed by adjacent slopes 5 formed by assembling these projecting parts 9. The moving arms 11 to 18 are provided with elastic deformed parts 3 formed thin on their base end side. The moving arms 11 to 18 are supported by the piezoelectric elements 6 so that the optical fibers held in the V grooves are discretely and finely moved by discretely and finely adjusting the piezoelectric elements 6. |
