<p>The smokestack has extension nozzle at top for removing toxic gases. It ensures the legally permissible dilution of toxic gases near the ground. High exit velocity of gases for efficient dispersal is ensured with the relatively short smokestack which may have to be used, for example near airports. The smokestack nozzle ensures acceleration and forming of coherent jet of the emerging flue gases. The jet is directed vertically upwards. The nozzle has a contracted cross section into which is fitted a propulsion and mixing air pipe. The mixing air is blown from an air compressor (5) through a compressor pipe line (6). The acceleration and jet formation may consist only of an additional nozzle (3). The latter is mounted on top of the basic nozzle on top of the chimney stack.</p> |
