PURPOSE:To facilitate the demolding and prevent the adhesion of a mold lubricant to a rubber molded article by adopting a foaming method in the manufacture of the rubber molded article and covering molding raw materials with a film having lubricity. CONSTITUTION:In the molding of a rubber roll 1, roll raw materials 5, after being covered with a film 9, are packed in a mold 6, and a metal core 2 is passed through the cylindrical hole 5a of the roll raw materials. Sealing members 7, 7' are attached to both ends of the mold 6, and the roll raw materials 5 are heated through the mold 6 so that they are simultaneously vulcanized and expanded by a foaming agent. In this way, the roll raw materials 5 are expanded between the metal core 2 and the mold 6 to fill up the gaps. In addition, they are pressed to the outside surface of the metal core 2 and to the cavity surface 6a of the mold 6 by pressure caused by foaming. |
