<p>The racking system consists of a cable holder rail (2) with slots to accommodate cable supports. The rail is attached to the lower strut (4) of a telescope pillar (5). The cable holder rail is of box construction and is welded to the strut. The strut comprises two halveS, the upper being plugged into the lower (4a) which has an internal, welded socket. The two parts are fixed by means of bolts (9). The ends of the telescopic strut are fitted with brackets (10, 11) which are attached to the floor and the roof of the cable chamber, respectively. The cable holder rail is in the form of two U-shaped sections (14) joined together via a central strip (16) in the channel formed by the two outer members. The outer edges of the U-sections are welded to the strut.</p> |
