Spring piston buffer for roller blind - prevents complete retraction into drum box and fixes to bottom flank of blind to locate in guide

The spring-piston buffer mechanism may be deployed on roller shutters or blinds, and prevents the complete retraction of the blind (6) into the winding-drum-box (8). The buffers attach to the basal flanks of the blind (6) are concealed in the vertical tracks (9) guiding the edges of the blind (6), and act upon encountering the funnel (10) into the box. The foot of the withdrawn blind does not impinge on the window opening. The buffer may comprise a sliding runner (1) on a round section rod (3). The rod had built on enlargements or stops (2, 5) at each end, and a coil spring (4) maintains the runner (1) against the lower stop (2). The latter (2) is of a 'T' shape in the horizontal section to fit in the track (9). The runner (1) is annular with a laminar radial projection which is fixed into the bottom rail (11) of the blind.
