PURPOSE:To obtain a glue solution of a high glue content having excellent solubility and operability with increased antiseptic properties by dispersing a powdery glue such as xanthan gum or guar gum in a mixed solution of water- alcohol to form partially hydrated particles. CONSTITUTION:A powdery glue of xanthan gum, guar gum or sodium alginate is dispersed in a water-alcohol mixed solvent to form partially hydrated particles whereby the objective glue solution is obtained. The alcohol used is ethanol, glycerol, or propylene glycol and the concentration of the alcohol is 5 to 10%, or higher so that the glue solution may keep its fluidity and the partially hydrated particles may be kept stably for 1 to 7 days. The viscosity of the stably dispersed glue solution is about 500 to 70,000cp, when measured by means of the B-type viscometer (6rpm). |
