PURPOSE: To prevent the rotation of a housing of a rotary type compressor by providing apertures in a side wall of a housing and holes opening radially outwardly in a frame member, and welding pin members in the apertures through the holes. CONSTITUTION: A rotary type refrigerant compressor rotates a roller 400 pivoted on the eccentric portion of a crankshaft eccentrically along a cylinder block side wall 396 by the rotation of the crankshaft so as to cooperate with a slide vane 398 to suck refrigerant through a suction pipe 342, and compress it in a chamber 385. A triangular vertex of a frame member 372 fixed integrally with a cylinder block abuts an inner peripheral surface of a housing side wall 316, and pin members 418 are inserted into holes 412 thereof and apertures 416 of the side wall 396. The pin members 418 are welded on the side wall 316, and fixed non-rotatably. Thus, it is possible to prevent the rotation of a housing (cylinder block) of a compressor in an air-tightly sealed housing.
