The invention concerns a gearshift device (10) for transmissions in motor vehicles, comprising a gearshift lever (12) which can be operated at least in a longitudinal direction (14) and in a transverse direction (16). The gearshift lever (12) is in operative connection with a first gearshift linkage (22) and a second gearshift linkage (24) which pivot on the gear side on their respective actuators (40, 44). Operating the gear lever (12) in the longitudinal and/or transverse directions (14, 16) actuates the first and/or second gearshift linkage (22, 24) and thus effects a change or selection of individual gears of the transmission. A connecting element (28), which is guided in the longitudinal direction (14) so as to slide in the housing (20) of the gearshift device (10), is mounted between the first gearshift linkage (22) and the gearshift lever. The connecting element (28) is provided with an opening (30) aligned essentially in the transverse direction (16) and in the form of a long hole into which a lower end (48) of the gearshift lever (12) extends. |
