<p>A glass bottle which contains medicaments etc., is sealed by a non-reusable seal assembly which includes a flanged plug and two sleeves made of resilient plastics. When the plug is placed in the bottle, the first sleeve is placed over the plug flange. The sleeve shroud is tapered so that its internal flange fits over the plug and bottle rim. When the second sleeve, which is cylindrical is pushed over the first one, the tapered shroud is radially compressed so that its internal flange interlocks with the undercut bottle rim.</p> |
