<p>Dryer for free-flowing materials type comprises a stationary drum casing with an internal longitudinally-arranged rotor carrying rigidly-fastened blades is modified by the provision of transverse arcuate portions adjoining the ends of the blades. The arcuate portions together with the blades form pockets for conveying the processed material from the charging to the discharging position. The rotor blades are offset against their direction of rotation by an angle of 30-45 degrees to the radial direction. The dryer increases heat and mass exchange, throughput, and uniform drying.</p> |
