DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR OPTIMUM STAND-BY PERSON

PURPOSE:To realize the effective working in the above system by totalizing the number of mails received from each transmitter post office at a receiver post office and calculating the optimum number of stand-by persons necessary for processing the received mails based on the mail totalization information to display the calculated number of persons. CONSTITUTION:The information on the number of transmitted mails sent together with those transmitted mails are immediately and automatically totalized as soon as the mails are put into a device 4 having the ability to totalize the number of transmitted mails. The totalized information is sent to a device 6 which is set at a receiver post office 2 and has the data processing ability to calculate the optimum number of stand-by persons. Thus the device 6 processes the received information and calculates the optimum number of stand-by persons. This calculation result is displayed by a device 10 which can display the optimum number of stand-by persons. Thus it is possible to use the extra persons to other jobs at the office 2 other than those persons who are taking charge of the jobs to process the received mails.
