PURPOSE:To provide a circuit for metal vapor filled discharge lamp, in which a resistance and a diode are connected in series bet-one of main electrodes and an auxiliary starting electrode disposed adjacently of said one of main electrodes, and a capacitor is connected between the other of the main electrodes and said auxiliary electrode, thereby lowering the level of starting voltage without causing troubles such as failure of lighting the lamp. |
