The heating system for a building has a heat pump circuit or a district heating circuit for heating a hot-water circuit and a radiator circuit. The hot water circuit (1) contains a first hot water vessel (7) with a first heat exchanger (8). The radiator circuit (2) has a second hot water vessel (14) with a second heat exchanger (20). The heat exchangers are coupled by at least one two-stage coupling.
