<p>The process and equipment ensure that only clean air enters the vessel which has been under vacuum. The air is filtered, expanded and reheated before it is introduced into the vessel in order to remove dust particles and water droplets. The equipment comprises a filter to catch the dust in the ambient air used and an expansion chamber which is connected both to the operating vessel, and to the filter by a small hole. The appts. may be used with kilns, vessels for making thin layers etc. The process eliminates the use of costly driers which would otherwise be necessary in order to dry the air before being fed into the vessel.</p> |
