METHOD FOR THE TREATMET OF ZINC RAW MATERIALS

The method relates to the processing of zinc raw materialscontaining iron, cobalt and other high-meltable metals in vacuum.It increases the speed of running the process and reduces energyconsumption. The process is effected in a retort which is undervacuum from 100 to 120 mbar, the temperature being from 1100 to1150°C. Process intensification is possible with the addition ofup to 2% of aluminium.
