<p>PURPOSE:To effectively recover and utilize sensible heat containing in exhaust gas in a converter by utilizing the sensible heat in the high temp. exhaust gas discharged from the converter during operation and preheating cold material of scrap, etc., used in the next heat. CONSTITUTION:The high temp. exhaust gas is collected in an exhaust gas recovery duct 3 through an exhaust gas hood 2 during operation of the converter 1 and passed in a cold material charging duct 4 of steel scrap, ferro alloy, etc., and discharged to the next process. Plural sectionally parting plates 5a-5d as vertical movable at the tip part are arranged in the cold material charging duct 4 and the cold material 10 of the scrap, etc., is charged from a cold material charging hole hopper 6, and while dropping and shifting by turns to plural parting plates 5a-5d, the cold material is heated with the sensible heat in the exhaust gas in the converter and stored in the hopper 7 for discharge under condition of the high temp. scrap and ferro alloy as the raw material for the next heat. When the heat during operation at present completes, the solid raw material heated to high temp. in the hopper 7 for discharge, is charged into the converter as raw material for next heat.</p> |
