The present invention provides an upper agitator element coaxial with a lower agitator element, the upper agitator element being driven through a one-way clutch, from the same drive shaft which drives the lower agitator element, the upper agitator element being provided with vane means which urge clothes downwardly toward the lower agitator element and impart a highly efficient rollover motion to the clothes.</p> |
