<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracking balance compensating device which can compensate tracking balance of optical disk system. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pickup circuit 22 detecting a reflected beam from an optical disk 21, a tracking balance compensation means 27 inputting a diagonal sum signal outputted from the pickup circuit 22, after adjusting a phase, a phase difference is detected, and outputted as a tracking error signal, an envelope detecting means 25 detecting an envelope of a RF(radio frequency) signal outputted from the pickup circuit 22 and outputting it, and a DSP(digital signal processor) 26 inputting a tracking error signal from the tracking balance compensation means 27, controlling tracking of the pickup circuit 22 so that the tracking error signal is made zero, while generates tracking balance compensation voltage by the biggest size of an envelope signal and outputting it to the tracking balance compensation means.</p> |
