<p>A spring-loaded safety relief valve for a high pressure boiler or the like. A valve disk holder overhangs a nozzle and slides with clearance in a sleeve. The valve spindle carries a piston sealing a pressure chamber from a spring bonnet vented to atmosphere. A guide ring adjustable on the sleeve defines with the sleeve and disk holder an eductor arrangement operative when the valve is open to control to a limited degree the build-up pressure within the chamber.</p> |
