PURPOSE:To execute the remote control of a storage means by reading out a remote control code from a remote control code storage means and emitting light corresponding to a remote control code from a light emitting means. CONSTITUTION:When a picture recording command is inputted by an operator from an input operation part 42, a control part 30 sends a control signal indicating the start of a picture recording state to respective parts in a reproducing device 12. A remote control code storage part 34 reads out a remote control code for a REC in accordance with the control signal sent from the control part 30 and outputs the code to a remote control code sending part 36. The sending part 36 outputs the code to a remote control code emitting part 38 and light corresponding to the remote control code of the REC is emitted from the emitting part 38. A light receiving part 40 in a DAT 16 receives the light and the REC state is started. Thus, the system can be used as a file for storing image data without modifying or changing a digital audio tape recorder (DAT). |
