PURPOSE:To detect a processor, where fault occurs, without always monitoring status information of each processor by a diagnosing processor by performing the diagnostic processing of the processor where fault occurs based on processor specifying information from a fault detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:When fault occurs in a processor 24, the processor 24 sends fault information to a fault detecting circuit 11. The fault detecting circuit 11 receives this fault information to recognize the occurrence of fault in the processor 24 and sends specifying information of this processor to a diagnosing processor 12. The diagnosing processor 12 which receives this processor specifying information performs a proper diagnostic processing of only the processor 24 where fault occurs. Thus, it is unnecessary to always monitor each processor by the diagnosing processor 12, and fault is detected in a short time. |
