Link between water coolant pipe and radiator

The link between the connection (2) at a motor cooling radiator (1) and the plastics coolant water pipe (4) has a pipe section (6) between the end and the connection (2). The pipe section (6) is of an elastic material, pushed over the connection (2) and secured (3) in place. The other end is secured to the plastics pipe (4). The pipe section (6) is of acrylic butadiene rubber (NBR).
