A miniature computer is used to store data to permit a user to be asked particular questions. The answers are processed and enable a response to be given which details a personalised therapeutic treatment. A control desk (2) has regulation and selection controls (3) comprising push button switches (5, 6) operated in response to questions (Q). Actual buttons pressed depend on the age range of operator. A processor deals with the information it receives in binary form and indicater lamps (12) light adjacent to pidgeon holes (10) housing cards (11) which give approximate treatment information.
