<p>The cigarette extinguisher is used in conjunction with an ashtray and comprises a block made of a heat resisting material. This is pierced with a number of holes over its surface, these passing through the body of the block. The base of the holes is closed by menas of a plate which can be fixed or removable. The diameter of the holes is slightly larger than that of a cigaretter and their length is sufficient to support the cigarette when the lighted end is inserted into a hole and extinguished.</p> |
