1536936 Detergent bleach composition PROCTER & GAMBLE CO 2 April 1976 [3 April 1975] 13436/76 Heading C5D [Also in Division D1] Unbuilt liquid detergent compositions comprise an organic surfactant and, as photoactivator, from 0À025 to 1À25% by wt. of sulphonated zinc phthalocyanine. The activator may be the di-, tri- or tetra-sulphonate. The surfactant may be an alkoxylated alkyl phenol, an alkoxylated alkanol, a trialkyl amine oxide, an alkyl aryl sulphonate, an olefin sulphonate, an alkyl sulphate, an alkyl ether sulphate, an α-sulphonated fatty acid or a mixture of non-ionic and anionic surfactants. The compositions may include free alkanolamine and minor amounts of electrolytes. Stains are removed from textiles by contacting them with a solution of the compositions, in the presence of oxygen, whilst irradiating them with light, e.g. from a filament lamp or the sun. |
