Simultaneous operation of one of the warning devices 11, 12, allows the driver to operate one of switches 31, 32, and use manual braking instead of automatic braking. The comparator 8 compares the difference between the relative velocity of vehicle and obstacle (Vr) and the actual vehicle velocity (Va) with a reference velocity (Vf) to determine whether the obstacle is moving or stationary. |
