Remote supervision system connected to power distribution system

The remote supervision system reads and controls remote terminals connected to a power distribution system. These terminals may be connected to monitors recording the supply condition of the distribution system and to loads.The central control (10) is connected via modems to e.g. telephone lines (14) and via section control units (16) to the power lines (18). Each section control unit has its own modem (15) connecting it to the telephone lines. The remote terminals (20) are connected to the power lines and to the measuring instruments (M) and loads (L).
