The squish turbulence is caused by the major part of the combusion chamber 14 being of part spherical form with a diameter from 0À94 to 0À99 times the diameter of cylinder bore C1. Exhaust gases from combustion chambers 14 pass to a reactor 20 which may be a catalytic converter for oxidation of carbon monoxide and unburned hydrocarbons. |
