PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly fault restoration by making possible remote check of information representing the location of branch of any repeater where a home terminal required for restoration on the occurrence of a home terminal is connected so as to improve the accuracy of the information. SOLUTION: A home terminal 5 sends other check carrier f3 than a usual operation carrier f1 when a check carrier transmission with respect to its own ID is designated by a text from a center by the usual operation carrier f1. A repeater 4 detects a check carrier f3 and informs from which branch the carrier is detected to a center 1 with its own repeater ID. The center 1 cross- references the concerned home terminal, the ID of the repeater informing the detection of check carrier and a branched transmission line number and stores the result to its own database 103 or conducts update processing. |
