A printing machine for first form printing or for first and perfecting form printing comprises a sheet or web feed printing units consisting of a printing plate cylinder (9) with inking and moistening mechanisms (10, 11), at least one printing image transfer element constructed as an endless belt (7) in contrast with a sheet or web guiding cylinder (4.1) and receiving images from the nip between each printing cylinder and an associated counter. Pressure cylinder (12), and a further cylinder system (27) which is arranged downstream of the endless belt (7) and which forms part of perfecting equipment (28) and includes at least one further printing cylinder. The perfecting equipment may be made up entirely of cylinders or include another endless transfer belt, Fig. 2; the sheet grippers in the perfecting equipment may function as sheet turners for perfecting or as simple transport cylinders in first form printing. <IMAGE> |
