<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate a defective paper which is generated by the cause on the device side in the image formation from others by forming a discrimination mark onto the paper in an image formation processing part, when the paper is compulsorily discharged when jam is generated. CONSTITUTION:When paper jam of copying paper sheets P is generated inside a sorter 8, a jam generation signal is generated from the sorter 8, and the function of the sorter 8 is immediately suspended, but the image formation is carried out on a paper P in transport, and said paper is put into waiting into an intermediate tray. When the jam processing in the sorter 8 is completed, the copying paper P left in the intermediate tray is transported to a copying processing part 3, and a blank lamp 37 is flashed so that a static electricity latent image having a desired form is formed on the surface of a photosensitive drum 31, by controlling a blank lamp lighting control part 63. A toner image is developed by a latent image device 33, and copied onto the surface of the copying paper P by a copying charger 34, and then the paper is discharged into the sorter 8.</p> |
