THIS INVENTION provides a concentrating method in which a thin stream of particulate material is fed past a suction nozzle. A continuous suction which is insufficient to remove particles from the stream is applied to the nozzle. Particles which have been selected by known means are removed from the stream by rapidly increasing the suction on the nozzle. |
