PURPOSE:To improve transferability and to suppress the double refractive index of a molding to a low level by forming grooves for tracking guides to the sectional shape asymmetrical with a center in th radial direction of the disk. CONSTITUTION:The grooves for tracking guides are formed by shifting the peak of an intensity distribution D and the center of the aperture of a mask 10 in such a manner that the sectional shape in the radial direction of the disk is asymmetrical with the center at the time of exposing the photoresist of the master disk. Stampers which are different in the sectional shapes of patterns are, therefore, obtainable by controlling the energy distribution of the laser light for exposing. The flow of the resin is smoothed in this way at the time of molding and the disk medium which is less in molding defects and has excellent optical characteristics such as double refractive index is obtd. |
