PURPOSE:To shorten time for restoring the fault of a data base by temporarily stopping each online system, synchronizing a backup acquisition time point and making a journal after synchronizing objective when acquiring the backup during the online. CONSTITUTION:When a command (backup acquesition starting request) is put into an online system A23 and this command is communicated through a communication equipment, which mutually connects data units 21 and 22, to another online system B24, the activation of a new processing is suppressed and all the online system are temporarily stopped. Further, it is communicated that the completion of synchronizing with the other online system B24 while waiting for the end of a processing under execution. Afterwards, when all the online systems are synchronized, an ID is added to the journal to be acquired later and the activation suppression of the new processing is canceled. When the acquisition of the backup is completed, a command to request the end of the backup acquisition is put into any one of the online systems. Thus, since a file is restored by using the file journal after the start of the backup, fault restoring time can be shortened. |
