The nozzle for processing a workpiece made from electrically non- conducting material has a body (2) and a central electrode (27) at the apex of the nozzle. This lies in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (A) of the body (2)and is surrounded concentrically by at least two outer electrodes (36,38), insulated both from each other and from the central electrode. The free end surfaces of the electrodes all lie in the same plane. The central electrode is inserted in the end of a carrier block (21) which forms one of the outer electrodes. The other outer electrode rests on a shoulder (35) around the outside of this carrier block. ADVANTAGE - Robust mechanical construction for workpiece processing without using contact sensors. |
