PURPOSE:To obtain an image of high quality by constituting toner from binder resin, charge control agent, and colorant and specifying characteristic value for insoluble portion and soluble portion of THF and for molecular weight range. CONSTITUTION:In the toner, the THF soluble portion is first provided with at least one peak in the range where the molecular weight is below 30,000 and good influence is imparted mainly in pulverizability, blocking tendency, and welding characteristic and filming property to a photosensitive body. Furthermore, the THF soluble portion has at least one peak or a shoulder in a molecular weight range of 30,000 to 1,000,000, mainly the fixing ability is increased, and at least one peak or shoulder is provided in a molecular weight range of over 1,000,000, making fixation good. With this toner, stable lamination of toner on developer carrier can be formed, and the image of high image density, and high quality where ground staining or smearing of print, etc., is not generated can be obtained. |
