PURPOSE:To facilitate the escape of a crew from a car room when an accident occurs by automatically operating an unlocking bar hooking a clamp on the seat belt side in the unlocking direction with the power of a motor when a collision sensor detects the collision accident or the like of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:When a clamp 45 on the seat belt side is inserted into a lock case 3 while an unlocking bar 19 is protruded so that the tip section of the unlocking bar 19 of an operation mechanism in the lock case 3 does not interfere the operation of a locking bar 10, a locking piece 9 provided on the locking bar 10 is coupled with the hooking hole of the clamp 45, and the seat belt is kept in the fitted state. When a collision accident occurs in this fitted state and a collision sensor 22 generates an output signal, a motor 45 is started after the preset time (about 30sec). The unlocking bar 19 is moved to the left by the rotation of a screw shaft 27, its tip section 18 presses the tip section 7 of the locking bar 10, thus the locking piece 9 is released from the clamp 45, and the seat belt is released. |
