PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of input changeover in a low speed gear stage by providing the first and second single-pinion planetary gears and the third double-pinion planetary gear on the same axis and always connecting specified elements or enabling the connection therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The first and second single-pinion planetary gears and the third double-pinion planetary gears 16, 18, 20 are arranged coaxially on input and output shafts 14, 22, the first carrier 16c, the second ring gear 18r and the third sun gear 20s are connected, the first ring gear 16r and the third carrier 20c are connected through a clutch k2, and the second carrier 18c and the third carrier 20r are connected. At a low-speed stage, with the clutch k2 connected, the first speed is obtained by the operation of the brake B1, the second speed by B2, the third speed by B3 and the fourth speed by K3. Further, the fifth speed is attained by K3 and B3, and backward gear stage is attained by the connection of B1 and B3. Thus, speed change control can be made simply and easily. |
