A sintered glass-ceramic material particularly suitable as a cladding and structural system, comprising a sintered ternary composition of SiO2, LiO2 and ZrO2 which has an SiO2/LiO2 molar ratio between 70/30 and 78/22 and a ZrO2 content of less than 13.04 mol.%. The glass-ceramic material according to the invention is used in the conventional field of ceramics and in the fields of screen-printing and lithography.
