PURPOSE:To obtain the subject coating agent having excellent printability, adhesivity, etc., by reacting a univalent carboxylic acid anhydride with a (hydroxyl-containing) ester of (meth)acrylic acid, removing by-produced univalent carboxylic acid and using the product as a component. CONSTITUTION:The objective coating agent contains a substance produced by reacting (A) a hydroxyl-containing ester derived from (meth)acrylic acid and a compound capable of forming an ester with (meth)acrylic acid with (B) a univalent carboxylic acid anhydride and removing the by-produced univalent carboxylic acid from the reaction product. Preferably, the above product is added with a monomer having radically polymerizable double bond and, as necessary, further with a radical polymerization initiator. |
