The flow rate regulator is pref. For magnetic valves in domestic machinery, and has flow aperture varied by means of an elastic disc dependent on press. or flow rate. The disc is spring-loaded against closing. It is designed for improved transient response than similar types and to ensure relatively constant flow rate at low cost and low press. The disc (8) is held central by a spigot (7) joined by spokes (9) to the valve insert (3). The spring (11) is fixed to the insert in a cut-out (2) radially opposite a web (13) protruding from the circular sealing face (6).
